Format

All golf clubs affiliated to EWGA are invited to run a qualifying round of the PING Women's Four Ball Better Ball Tournament of England between January 1 and July 2 2010 .

ALL ENTRIES MUST BE RECEIVED IN THE EWGA OFFICE BY FRIDAY 9 JULY.

This must be a four ball better ball stableford competition and each player will receive three-quarters of full handicap.

Distance measuring devices may be used in club qualifying rounds but not in the Plate and Grand Final.

ALL club winners and runners up will receive a prize from PING.

The top 60 club winners in England will qualify through to the GRAND FINAL. The next 72 best stableford scores will qualify for the PLATE FINAL. If over-subscribed there will be a waiting list.

Both finals will consist of 18 holes of Four Ball Better Ball stableford.

The Grand Final winners will qualify through to the UK final of the Volvo Masters Amateur Tour 2010. www.vmatour.com

EWGA will be running a leaderboard for the Tournament. Clubs/Competitors will be able to log onto the website to view the leaderboard. This will be updated daily and will allow competitors to see where they stand.
