Format

All golf clubs affiliated to EWGA are invited to run a qualifying round of the PING Women's Four Ball Better Ball Tournament of England between January 1 and June 26 2008 .

ALL ENTRIES MUST BE RECEIVED IN THE EWGA OFFICE BY NOON, FRIDAY 27 JUNE.

This must be a four ball better ball stableford competition and each player will receive three-quarters of full handicap . The top 72 pairs in each region will qualify through to a Regional Final. Regional Final places will be awarded based on the top 72 best nett scores in relation to the standard scratch score of the course. If over-subscribed there will be a waiting list.

There will be six Regional finals played in August and September 2008.

The players with the best 7 nett scores at each regional final will receive a goodie-bag containing a voucher for a pair of ECCO shoes, PING Collection will provide an item of clothing for them to wear at the GRAND FINAL and will qualify for the 18-hole grand final in October 2008.

The winners will hold the PING Four Ball Better Ball Trophy for a year. The winners will also each receive a memento and a choice of clothing from PING Collection's exclusive ladies' range, or PING ladies' golf clubs to the retail value of 500. The runners-up will each receive prizes to the value of £100 and the third-place players to the value of £50 each.
